| Fun with Republicans Sun, 01 Jun 2008 15:03:03 -0500 The country may have soured on the Republican party in recent months, as President Bush's approval ratings dip to record lows and frustration with the Iraq war lingers. But don't tell that to the 4,000-plus GOP activists who showed up this weekend at the Virginia Republican Convention in Richmond. Convention delegates were happy to scoop up buttons and bumper stickers ($2 each) promoting GOP candidates and making fun of Democrats. And conservative values were on prominent display.
